  1. Hi Zane! I LOVE your blog and the beautiful photos, and miss it if you skip a day! The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is look for your blog! Looks like it’s been a wonderful, fun, sometimes scary, beautiful trip! I’m not sure I know how to write back, but I’m trying this. Hope it works. Have been at the Craft Fair almost every day, but will stay in Hanover tonight so we can pack. It’s almost time for us to leave! Today it’s raining, first rainy day we’ve had. I hope it’s getting a little cooler where you are, and that you can swim. I’m happy your apartment is so awesome. Certainly your scenery has been! Love to all of you! Gram

  2. Let me know if you received my comment, and then I will keep writing, and will try to teach Poppa how to do it. Love, Gram

  3. Hello Zane:
    wow, it looks like you are really enjoying the trip. Your pictures are wonderful & I enjoy reading your observations. Glad you liked Slovenia. I was there once about 15 years ago, it was & is a very pretty country.
    We are looking forward to seeing you in Budapest next Wednesday.
    Love
    Poppa

  4. Zane ………………. Some trip so far! I loved your hike in Austria ……. I would have been down on my hands and knees crawling along that narrow ridge. I’m so envious of you seeing those amazing Lipizzaner horses. It looks like you are having great weather. We look forward to seeing your next blog ……….. Granddady

  5. Zane–Your grandma Jill sent me your blog address so I could follow your trip too. It sounds great and you write very well. Wish I could be travelling too. Love to Eva and mom and dad. Enjoy the rest of the trip–Budapest and Italy—I’m jealous!
    Love, grandma’s friend Diane from California

  6. Hi Zane (and Eva!)
    Looks like you and your family are having a blast! Jen, I can’t believe that you got to see the Lipizzaner stallions training…I think that might be even more cool than watching them perform!
    The pictures of the mountains from your drive to Rovinj reminded me a lot of the San Juan mountains in Colorado that we drove through this summer, near Telluride…My Mom says you know them well!
    It is really fun to follow your trip with this blog—thanks!!!
    Wyndom =)
